How it Works - Implementation Options for Ministries

There are many ways for your ministry to utilize Meet The Need depending on how involved you want to be:

Degree of Involvement and Effort in Using Meet The Need:

  1. Post needs for volunteers and materials for service projects
  2. Use your Dashboard to track commitment activity for the needs you posted
  3. Let your volunteers register under your ministry so they can see the needs you’ve posted
  4. Pass out flyers in a neighborhood where there may be needs, directing them to Meet The Need’s Call Center, where they will likely be “assigned” back to your ministry
  5. Give people who want to donate items to a family for whom you posted needs the option of asking you to deliver those items on their behalf
  6. Become part of a multi-ministry and/or multi-church event that is using Meet The Need to target a specific type of need or group that you serve
  7. Run your own outreach event using Meet the Need
