How it Works - Implementation Options for Teams

With Meet The Need, each Team within a church is essentially a mini-outreach organization and enjoys the same flexibility in using Meet The Need that every church enjoys. There are many ways for your Team to utilize Meet The Need depending on how involved you want to be:

Degree of Effort in Using Meet The Need:

  1. Have the Team leader be the only one who uses it and simply use it to search for opportunities to meet needs
  2. Let each member of your Team register under the name of your Team so they can instantly see the needs that you (as Team Leader) have posted
  3. Track your Team’s activities through your Team’s private Dashboard
  4. Pass out flyers in a neighborhood where there may be needs, directing them to Meet The Need’s Call Center
  5. Post needs for a member of your team or for a local family that your Team would like to help
  6. Give people who want to donate items to a family you’re trying to help the option of asking you to deliver those items on their behalf
  7. Run your own service project (or join a multi-church event) targeting a specific type of ministry (e.g. food banks) or group of families (e.g. single moms), including posting needs for materials and volunteers
